01

Visa overview

Dutch passport holders normally require a visa to enter Vietnam. The Vietnam E-Visa, applied for online, is the most common route. Any current exemption or specific-category arrangements can change — please contact us to confirm what applies to your case.

02

Possible entry options

Vietnam E-Visa (online)

Option 1

The Vietnam E-Visa is issued online by the Vietnamese Immigration Department for eligible nationalities. Depending on the option selected, it can be valid for up to 90 days, single or multiple entry.

The E-Visa is delivered as a digital document to print and present on arrival.

Embassy or consulate visa

Option 2

A traditional visa applied for through a Vietnamese embassy or consulate. This route can be used for cases that fall outside the E-Visa scheme or when a specific visa category is needed.

Processing times and required documents are set by the individual embassy or consulate.

Visa-exemption arrangements (verify)

Option 3

Where applicable, some short-stay arrangements may allow entry without a visa. These are set by Vietnamese policy and can change.
